The Alliance of Sector Councils

Building Blocks For FCR

  • TASC delivered a series of five workshops during the period from September 2006 to December 2007. The workshops were designed to build the knowledge base for sector councils so they can adequately address the foreign credential and competency recognition issues that are critical in so many key sectors of the economy.

In total, 139 individuals representing 71 different organizations (sector councils, other business organizations, non-profit organizations, immigrant serving agencies, and government) participated in the workshops, with total attendance at all five workshops nearing 200 participants.
